This is a series of complete end-to-end testing done on the Cloudformation template of an EKS service. The tests done are CFN-Lint, CFN-Nag, Cloudformation linting. The purpose of this project is to prevent the wasting of time and resources by having your cloudformation stack upload fail along the way, all your tests are done locally before the stack is committed to your pipeline. The project will still be inproved by the inclusion of python unit tests using CloudRadar.
This was created using HTML, CSS and JS. It is hosted on an S3 bucket and GitHub Actions is utilised as the CI tool. It is also hosted using Cloudfront to ensure low latency when loading.
I recently began documenting projects that I have personally worked on to give people an idea of my skill set, documentation skills, approach to problem solving and intent to share knowledge.
Working on deploying a microservices springboot application into an EKS cluster using eksctl. It will be contained in a CI/CD pipeline. The purpose of this project is to improve my monitoring skills as the focus will be on how I will monitor the performance of the application.
